Brief summary of role:
Join the Copado team as an Account Executive and take ownership of a strategic sales territory in Australia. You will be responsible for developing and executing a go-to-market strategy to drive brand awareness, build advocacy, engage in account planning, and identify new sales opportunities. You’ll work proactively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to establish Copado as a leader in the Salesforce ecosystem.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving Regional Growth & Customer Acquisition – Develop and execute a regional strategy for expanding Copado’s presence in the Australian Enterprise Segment.
- Strategic Account Management – Build strong executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across enterprises, ISVs, Salesforce teams, and implementation partners.
- Business Development & Outbound Prospecting – Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities, while maintaining a strong pipeline of high-value accounts.
- Sales Execution & Performance – Achieve and exceed sales objectives, ensuring a consultative, value-driven sales approach.
- Customer Success & Retention – Work closely with customers post-deal to ensure smooth adoption, engagement, and long-term success.
- Regional Collaboration – Partner with local Salesforce teams, system integrators, and consulting firms to strengthen Copado’s market positioning.
- Market Insights & Strategy – Track, analyze, and report key market trends and performance metrics to senior leadership.
- Ongoing Learning & Development – Complete all product, sales, and process training certifications to develop expertise in Copado’s DevOps and testing solutions.
We are looking for someone with:
- 6+ years of experience in selling technology, SaaS, or IT solutions.
- 4+ years of experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, preferably in a sales capacity.
- Strong new business hunter mindset – ability to build and grow your own pipeline with a proactive approach.
- Experience selling in Australia, with a deep understanding of local enterprise sales cycles and buying behaviour.
- Ability to navigate complex sales cycles – reaching both technical and economic buyers early in the process.
- Collaborative team player – thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
- Emotionally intelligent communicator – ability to listen, understand, and articulate customer challenges.
- Experience managing CRM (Salesforce preferred), forecasting, and reporting.
