About the role:
- The position will have the right candidate take on a leading role in a fast-paced environment, where they will work closely with Partners across the firm.
- Advising prominent businesses from across the world on domestic and cross-border transactions, such as joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, public takeovers, demergers, private equity and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- 7+ years’ experience on private and/or public M&A transactions, gained from private practice
- A law degree from an accredited Australian or New Zealand university with strong academic results.
- Exceptional interpersonal & communication skills – articulate, professional, and personable.
- A client-focused mindset, commercially astute, with the ability to business develop, as well as build and nurture strong relationships.
