EMHR (Earlier Mental Health Response Team) is a 24/7 mental health triage service having many differing contracts with differing Te Whatu Ora localities across the motu along with Police and Ambulance Services.
You will be welcomed into a dynamic and specialist team, where you will receive access to paid external monthly supervision.

All the necessary IT equipment is provided to enable you to deliver your mental health triage expertise across New Zealand.
Although you may be working from wherever you are in New Zealand you are not alone! You will be welcomed to a team of 40 dedicated and experienced Mental Health Clinicians all with the same goals and focus to offer immediate mental health tele triage-support to our community.
Mō tēnei tūranga - About the role
This is a permanent position; we will consider both full time and part time.
This is an exciting role where no two calls are the same! You will be triaging incoming calls using the UK Triage tool, gathering and providing mental health information and advice to service users, where deemed clinically necessary you will also be liaising with stakeholders such as local crisis teams and Police and Ambulance to ensure that emergency mental health support gets to the right person at the right time.
