Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate events with a strong emphasis on accessibility and inclusivity.
  • Research and secure venues that accommodate diverse mobility, sensory, and communication needs.
  • Manage vendor negotiations and contracts for catering, transportation, and event services.
  • Ensure all event details meet both client expectations and accessibility standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and event teams to ensure smooth execution.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and accessible event planning strategies.
  • Participate in virtual training sessions to expand knowledge of event coordination and planning tools.

What You Bring to the Role

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Bilingual – fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in researching venues, managing logistics, and using online planning tools.
  • A passion for creating inclusive experiences and ensuring accessibility for all attendees.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Reliable access to a computer or smartphone with internet connectivity.
  • Ability to attend virtual training sessions.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Previous experience in event planning, logistics coordination, or customer service is a plus but not required.
