About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced compliance leader. As the Quality Practice and Compliance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organisation meets all regulatory requirements while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.  Reporting to the Director of Education, you will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to delivering high-quality education and training services.

 

Key Focus Areas will include...

  • Compliance Leadership – Lead and manage the organisation’s compliance function, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Compliance Strategy – Develop and implement a streamlined compliance management framework that supports business goals.
  • Advisory Support – Provide expert compliance guidance to teams, ensuring adherence to the Standards for RTOs and ASQA regulations.
  • Oversight & Monitoring – Oversee compliance activities to maintain regulatory alignment and best practices.
  • Quality Assurance & Insights – Establish quality assurance mechanisms, leveraging insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Regulatory Compliance – Ensure full compliance with ASQA and other regulatory bodies governing the education sector.
  • Compliance Framework Management – Maintain and enhance a practical, commercially viable compliance framework.
  • Cultural Development – Promote a culture of quality, innovation, and compliance excellence to support student success.

What you will bring…

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate and consult with internal and external stakeholders and share your knowledge.
  • Proven experience in compliance and administration within the VET sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of RTO compliance requirements, ASQA standards, and industry best practices.
  • A Diploma in Quality Auditing or other relevant postgraduate qualifications in Vocational Education and Training.
  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willingness to obtain).
  • Excellent communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk management.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring teams in compliance and quality best practices.
  • Experience with government-funded programs and CRICOS (highly desirable).
  • Familiarity with LMS and SMS platforms
