Harwell Home Care is a DVA-approved provider that is currently looking for Personal Care Workers to take care of our Veteran clients within home nursing care.
We are a family-owned and operated business and what we are most passionate about is the care of our patients and the ability to keep them comfortable in their own homes for longer.
We are seeking an energetic and efficient Cleaning Team Leader to oversee our cleaning services in a home care environment across Australia. You will work closely with our cleaning staff, Clinical leaders and Clients to ensure high-quality cleaning services that meet infection control, OH&S, and DVA and aged care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of cleaners across home care sites.
- Ensure cleaning and hygiene standards are met in accordance with policies and regulations.
- Train and support staff in proper cleaning procedures, equipment use, and chemical safety.
- Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and management.
About You
- Previous experience leading a cleaning team, ideally in a healthcare or aged care setting.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and infection control measures.
- Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of OH&S, manual handling, and hazard identification.
