Primary Functions

  • Administer and maintain GHD’s ProjectWise systems and environment.
  • Provide high-level technical advice and support to Collaboration Systems Advisors (CSA’s) in Northern and Southern hemispheres.
  • Support CSA’s in the ongoing promotion of GHD’s unified collaboration platforms and practices across the Enterprise.
  • Sustainment, maintenance and ongoing compliance of GHD’s global Collaboration production platforms.
  • Assist the Collaborations Technologies Manager to technically plan and implement the work programs from GHD’s overall strategic plan and business requirements.
  • When required, lead CSA’s and IS teams to address issues that impact Project Delivery. With input from the CTPM, this involvement may include Vendor management and issue resolution where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining high availability of GHD production and development ProjectWise platforms, as well as implementing corrective measures.
  • Assist CSA’s and Regional Collaboration Coordinators (RCC’s) to curate feedback from contributing and affected stakeholder groups from across the business to confirm solutions meet business requirements.
  • Effectively plan and implement changes to facilitate any sustaining technical activities.
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities with the IS Special Applications Support (SAS) team in the service and support provided to GHD project teams.
  • Escalation of identified issues and risks that impact Project Delivery processes.
  • In conjunction with the CTPM, introduction of the agreed strategic initiatives into production and development collaboration platforms and their dependencies.
  • Continuously and pro-actively maintain consultation and feedback channels with CTPM.
  • Monthly reporting on system availability and progress of planned technical program enhancements.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A qualification in Engineering, Information Systems, or related field is desirable though not essential.
  • Experience in AEC based project delivery ranging from small to global implementations.
  • Experience in a global professional services organisation.
  • A working knowledge of ProjectWise
  • Broad knowledge of information management practices in an AEC project delivery context and their application to asset lifecycle management.
