Gardener

Essential Care provide support services for clients in Home Aged Care, NDIS and for Veterans Home Care.

We operate across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven and often look to take on additional team members for Personal Care, Domestic Support, Community Access as well as our Lawn and Garden maintenance teams.

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Gardener to join our team in Sanctuary Point The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our outdoor spaces. The Gardener will work closely with our clients to ensure their needs are met.

We currently have one client in Sanctuary Point requiring 1.5 hours of lawn and garden maintenance per month, but these numbers are likely to grow so ideally you will have capacity to do so.

Responsibilities:

• Mow and edge lawns
• Trim and prune trees and shrubs
• Maintain garden equipment and tools
• Keep outdoor areas clean and free of debris
• Provide excellent customer service to clients

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Gardener
• Ability to operate and maintain their own garden equipment and tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather condition
