About the firm and role:
This is a great opportunity to join one of Australia's largest medical defence teams, providing legal advice, assisting senior lawyers, defending claims, and appearing in court.
The practice specializes in:
- Defending medical malpractice claims against Victorian public health organizations, providers, and individuals.
- Representing government bodies and public authorities in public liability and personal injury claims.
- Acting for the State of Victoria and community service organizations in child abuse and institutional liability cases.
The ideal candidate:
- Lawyer (1+ PQE).
- Education: Relevant Australian Legal Qualification/Admission and great academics.
- You will have at least 12 months PQE with a litigation background, ideally working in private practice on matters relating to medical malpractice, public health, personal injury or WorkCover or institutional liability.
