Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. The Payroll Officer will work closely with the HR department to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time
  • Maintain employee Masterfile by updating employee information for new hires, termination, transfer, and changes in employee pay details
  • Coordinate and process monthly and weekly payrolls in accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, wages, and deductions
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
  • Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll software and systems
  • Understanding of payroll tax would be advantageous
  • High-level problem-solving and analytical abilities to resolve payroll and system issues
  • Payroll systems experience (Employment Hero payroll, SAP Success Factors, Kronos)
