Meet the team:

Join our dynamic team as a Diabetes Territory Business Manager (TBM) and play a crucial role in the growth and success of the Tandem Insulin Pump and CGM portfolio. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in achieving our national business performance targets. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the diabetes healthcare sector, promoting innovative products and providing exceptional support to healthcare professionals and consumers.

Where you come in:

  • You will promote Dexcom’s Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) and Tandem Insulin Pump products to stakeholders in both public and private sectors.

  • You will engage directly with consumers and healthcare professionals to ensure sales growth, excellence of service, and support.
  • You will provide technical expertise and support to both healthcare professionals and consumers.
  • You will offer education and training at target centers, including endocrinologists, diabetes nurse specialists, diabetes educators, and dieticians.
  • You will influence healthcare professionals to prescribe Dexcom and Tandem products.
  • You will train healthcare professionals on the use of Dexcom and Tandem products.
  • You will represent Dexcom and Tandem at trade shows, exhibits, and community events.
  • You will collaborate with other departments to facilitate territory sales growth.
  • You will implement strategies and monitor progress towards sales goals using analytical tools.
  • You will manage territory travel and business-related expenditure effectively.
  • You will complete all administrative requirements in a timely manner.

  • You have experience executing business plans and managing key accounts.

Travel Required:

  • Extensive local travel, including overnight travel to clients’ localities.
  • International travel for regional sales meetings as directed by the management team.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-year experience in a related role, preferably in Diabetes/Medical Device.
  • Healthcare/Science-related background with previous medical and/or pharma sales experience and a track record of high sales success.
  • Experience in the sales industry, preferably in the medical/healthcare sector.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Current Working with Children’s Check.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and/or evenings.
  • Unrestricted work rights within New Zealand.
