About the role:
As a Sales Development Representative at the award-winning online property marketplace homely.com.au, you will be responsible for generating business from all across the country. Your goal will be to reach out to potential business partners who want to learn more about our cost-effective digital advertising solutions at a scheduled sit down meeting. You will work closely with the national sales team to help build our real estate marketplace listing volumes with the focus being on booking face to face meetings for the Account Executive team. You'll naturally be able to convince people over the phone to do things and work well with the rest of our passionate sales team. No two days will be the same and you will constantly be solving problems to ultimately help grow our customer base.
As a Homely Sales Development Representative you will:
Call outbound warm and cold accounts.
Book meetings with decision-makers for our Account Executives.
Handle inbound sales enquiries and allocate them to the relevant sales team members
Work directly with the sales team to develop strategies and secure regular meetings.
Work alongside the national sales team to solve problems and grow our customer base.
Manage admin including documenting calls, feedback and meetings in the CRM
Skills and experience:
Ideally 6 months+ of solid outbound sales experience.
Confidence in cold calling & success in booking meetings over the phone (must have)
Strong customer service experience and skills
Good objection handling skills and friendly disposition over the phone
Self-driven, motivated and desire to constantly improve sales skills
Meticulous administration & CRM management experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) along with solid presentation skills
Can demonstrate a track record of consistently hitting and exceeding sales KPIs
Most importantly is coachable, and boasts a βcan-do attitudeβ & enthusiasm!
A natural sales hunter who isn't afraid to ask for the business and get the deal done
