Summary:

The Travel Consultant will be responsible for planning and organizing travel itineraries for clients, providing excellent customer service, liaising with travel providers, managing client queries and complaints, and ensuring accurate and complete bookings.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and manage travel itineraries for clients
  • Liaise with travel providers to secure the best deals and rates for clients
  • Provide accurate and relevant information to clients regarding travel regulations and visa requirements
  • Process travel bookings efficiently using industry-standard booking software
  • Assist clients with travel queries and complaints and provide timely resolution
  • Promote additional travel services and products to maximize sales and revenue
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of travel industry trends and developments
  • Ensure client information is kept confidential and secure

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in the travel industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Familiarity with office software programs and booking systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages is preferred
